Zadar

If you are looking for a quieter side of Croatia, whilst still having the choice of restaurants, then Zadar is the place for you.

Home to Roman ruins, medieval churches and of course the cosmopolitan cafes, Zadar also has a unique and quirky feel to it. This is probably because there is a 22-metre solar-powered public dancefloor called Monument to the Sun and a giant Sea Organ that plays musical notes as the waves hit the underwater pipes.
