To visit Iceland is to enter an entirely different world, filled with unique landscapes.
Vast glaciers, active volcanoes, lava-formed cliffs, epic waterfalls, spurting geysers, steaming hot springs and geothermal pools: all are found here and are often remarkably accessible to visitors. The most famous of all is the Blue Lagoon, where you can relax or swim in colourful, steaming waters surrounded by weird lava formations.
Most of Iceland’s small population live in the stylish capital of Reykjavik, which is also home to excellent restaurants, museums and galleries, and makes a wonderful base for trips to this spectacular country.
