  • The cruise terminal is the next pier along to Pier 39 which is a huge entertainment, dining and shopping complex. This is situated in the heat of the famous Fisherman's Wharf area where there are lots of bars, fishing boats and restaurants. From here you will see magnificent views of the Golden Gate Bridge and have the opportunity to take a boat trip to visit Alcatraz. Perhaps take the famous cable car over the hill to Union square - the heart of the downtown shopping area of the city.
  • Embark ship
  • Relax and make the most of the myriad of facilities available on board the ship, from fantastic entertainment to delicious and diverse dining options.
  • Juneau owes much of its early history to successful gold mining operations in the region. The city was named after gold prospector Joe Juneau and the city was established as the seat of Alaska's government dating back to 1906. 4000 foot mountains create a dramatic backdrop to the city beyond which lies the Juneau Icefield - home to 30 glaciers - the most famous being the Mendenhall Glacier. Scenic Admiralty Island is home to the highest concentration of brown bears. This is the perfect place to go whale watching in scenery which only can be described as breathtaking. Local tours are approx 20-30% cheaper than those available on the ship. For example: a 3 hour guided coach tour around the city including a visit to the Mendenhall Glacier and a tour of the Macaulay Salmon Hatchery costs only US$50pp.
  • SKAGWAY is the gateway to the Klondike and one-time boomtown of the gold rush era of 1898. This town enjoys reservation status within the national park, with its rustic boardwalks and frontier style storefronts and saloons.
  • This is a scenic cruising stop is located 50 miles southeast of Juneau and can be seen FREE from the decks of the ship! The Sawyer Glacier has carved a fjord with sheer vertical walls where you can watch blocks of ice calving off the face of Alaska's most active tidewater glacier and thundering into the waters of the Fjord, creating Alaska's biggest icebergs.
  • known as the Salmon capital of the world, is a quaint village, 3 miles long, just 3 blocks wide and wedged between the water and the forested slopes of Deer Mountain. The native American village is partly propped up on wooden pilings and the Totem Heritage centre houses more totem poles than anywhere else in the world. Perhaps or take a tour of the surrounding area with a very good chance of spotting majestic bald eagles that soar effortless over the inlet in their search for salmon.
  • Prince Rupert is a port city on British Columbia's northwest coast. It's a gateway to wilderness areas like the Khutzeymateen Grizzly Sanctuary bear habitat. Shops and cafes dot the waterfront Cow Bay area. The Museum of Northern B.C. showcases the region's natural and cultural heritage. South, the North Pacific Cannery traces the city's salmon-canning history. Humpback whales swim in the fish-filled waters offshore.

Activities Details
Carnival Miracle has three swimming pools. The Serenity pool in the aft was a popular spot both day and night, especially when live bands entertained the guests. We enjoyed many sea days here as there were comfy loungers to relax and listen to the oldies. The Serenity included a bar for drinks, and nearby, the Lido buffet was a great place to grab pizza, snacks, and salads throughout the day. The central atrium, called 'Metropolis,' features a colorful 11-story atrium painted in tones of pink and orange. With three glass elevators overlooking the lobby, cruisers can enjoy elevating views while traveling to another floor.
