Overview
Lying off the coast of Normandy and with a unique blend of French and British influences, the Channel Islands of Jersey and Guernsey combine stunning coastal scenery and untouched rural idylls with a rich heritage. On this relaxing break, we spend three nights in Guernsey before sailing across to neighbouring Jersey for another three nights. We also take a step back in time as we venture across to the tiny island of Sark, the crown jewel of the Channel Islands, nestled between Guernsey and Jersey. With plenty to discover, this enchanting escape to some of the UK’s most idyllic islands won’t disappoint.
Itinerary
- Travel to Jersey, meet coach at Jersey airport and travel to your hotel.
- Spending three nights in Jersey, relax and take in the wonderful delights this Island has to offer, hire a car or join, make use of the local public transport or join us on some of the excursions on offer from the hotel including, our half-day tour takes in Jersey’s spectacular coastline. Highlights include St Brelade’s Bay, one of the island’s most popular resort beaches, the rugged north coast overlooking the neighbouring Channel Islands and the famous Corbière lighthouse on the south-western corner of the island. We also visit St Ouen’s Bay with its miles of golden sand and rolling Atlantic waves – a prime spot for surfing, and picturesque Gorey harbour overlooked by Mont Orgueil Castle.
- We transfer to Guernsey’s St Peter Port harbour and catch the morning ferry to Sark. Just two square miles in size, this car-free island is the smallest of the four main Channel Islands and boasts some spectacular scenery. We step back in time with a traditional horse and carriage ride to the stunning La Seigneurie Gardens. Set between flower-strewn granite walls, mature woodland and the towers and crenellations of a 17th-century manor, these are some of the finest formal gardens on the Channel Islands. Highlights include the walled garden which shelters many tender and half-hardy plants, the formal rose garden edged with box hedging, the Victorian glasshouse with long-established vines, a vegetable garden, sensory and wild flower gardens.

The Saints Bay Hotel, Guernsey -
Situated on the south coast cliffs at Icart Point, an unspoilt headland on the most southerly tip of Guernsey. Named after the picturesque bay and the small fishermen's harbour at the foot of the cliffs below the hotel, it offers elegant en-suite rooms with tea and coffee-making facilities, TV and free Wi-Fi. Other facilities include an outdoor heated pool (seasonal), a restaurant, bar and poolside dining area.

Hotel transfers may be in shared vehicles. You may also have to await passengers arriving on other flights; for your convenience we will do our utmost to keep the waiting time to a minimum.
Please note the following information when booking flights. We will need passenger names (First and Last name only) as per passport. These names MUST match with your passport (please add in the “notes” section of the booking process).
Please note the flights will be booked in the names given to us during the booking and that changes to names will incur a charge from the airline which will be passed on to you, along with a £10.00 Just Go! amendment fee. (If you do not enter a full name during the booking process one of our reservations staff will contact you following your booking).

Luggage will be booked as per the flight terms above. Where hold luggage is included this will be the airline minimum usually 15 or 20kg per person. Day time flights will be booked and time sent over by either post or email on the ATOL certificate. (Flights booked outside the hours of 0600-18:00 customers will be contacted.)
Flight arrivals/departures are grouped for transfers and passengers may have to wait up to an hour on arrival for incoming/delayed flights. Flights are non-changeable and non-refundable once they are booked by our air department.
All passengers are responsible to do their own on-line check-in.
Please note: the excursion to Sark involves a fair amount of walking and is therefore unsuitable for those with limited mobility. Other optional excursions and car hire can be booked through our resort representative. A local bus service offers access to the whole island on both Jersey and Guernsey so a hire car is not essential.
