Toronto, Niagara Falls & New York Westbound Transatlantic Cruise

Includes Niagara Falls adventure pass or Niagara Falls helicopter flight

16days from
£1,819*per person

World class sights, incredible scenery, the honeymoon capital of the world and an iconic ocean liner voyage are brought together in this holiday of a lifetime. In Toronto enjoy the shops of the Eaton centre from Yonge Street and perhaps admire the views from the top of the CN Tower. In Niagara movies and photos just do not prepare you for the roaring power and grandeur of Lake Eerie spilling over 182-foot cliffs into Lake Ontario. There are two sets of falls next to each other; the American Falls and The Horseshoe Falls which are best viewed from the Canadian side of the Niagara River where you will be staying for three nights.
From the lush greenery of Central Park to the bustling streets of 5th Avenue, the towering Empire State Building to the vibrant energy of Times Square, the iconic Statue of Liberty to the buzzing financial hub of Wall Street, the famous department stores of Macy's and Tiffany's to the ever-present Yellow Cabs and NYPD, and of course, the enchanting world of Broadway, these elements come together in a whirlwind of sights, sounds, and experiences that will stay with you long after you depart.
Westbound to New York: Get your holiday off to an immediate start and travel to the United States in style from Southampton. For five days of any crossing-- each day at sea is 25-hours long and so you will arrive refreshed in tune with local time ready to step of your ship after breakfast and enjoy a full day. That is without the jet lag-- wanting to go to sleep five hours before everyone else and waking up in the early hours of the morning. Fly home overnight from Toronto.

  • Embark the fabulous Cunard Queen Mary 2 in Southampton nd enjoy the sail-away party just after 5pm.
  • Relax and make the most of the myriad of facilities available on board the ship, from fantastic entertainment to delicious and diverse dining options.
  • Perhaps rise early to greet the Statue of Liberty as the ship eases into New York harbour heading to the Brooklyn Cruise terminal. Disembark the ship just after breakfast and transfer to your hotel for an overnight stay.
  • A further two-nights' hotel stay. Wander around Central Park and go shopping on 5th Avenue to take advantage of the exchange rate and the lower prices. Visit Battery Park at the Southern tip of Manhattan and take some photos of the Statue of Liberty. If you have time - hop on a boat tour via the Statue of Liberty to the museum on Ellis Island. Finally visit Times Square at night before seeing a show on Broadway.
  • Board the Amtrak Maple Leaf train service in the morning and travel across the border through the varied scenery of Upstate New York all the way to Niagara Falls heart for three-nights' hotel stay.
  • Two further nights' hotel stay. Enjoy an exciting helicopter flight over falls or the Hornblower boat tour to the base of the falls (depending on departure date selected). Try your luck in the casinos or enjoy the views from the top of the Skylon Tower. This fertile region of Canada has many orchards, vineyards & wineries; and picturesque Niagara On the Lake is not to be missed. This was the original capital of Canada and is now a heritage town full of shops, restaurants and pristine groomed sidewalks and gardens. The famous Floral Clock and Brock's Monument are also interesting sights to see.
  • Transfer to Toronto for an overnight hotel stay.
  • A further overnight hotel stay. The hotel is conveniently situated next to the magnificent indoor Eaton shopping centre. Perhaps head down to the shore of Lake Ontario and visit the CN Tower to enjoy the views from 555 metres high and walk on the glass floor. This was once the tallest free standing structure in the world and now ranks as the third tallest.

Ship Information

Cruise Overview
The iconic 151,000 tonne Cunard Queen Mary 2 is the only true ocean liner in the world and was built to carry on the tradition of a Transatlantic service linking Southampton with New York. This spacious ship was launched in January 2004 & underwent an extensive refurbishment in May 2016. Trans-Atlantic Cunard Queen Mary 2 voyages have become very popular and are now the latest fashion in crossing the Atlantic rather than flying. Many people are recognising that a Cunard Queen Mary 2 voyage between New York & Southampton is an ideal special treat for a family celebration, as part of a longer holiday or for a very stylish second holiday of the year.
