A picturesque city that sits on Osaka Bay and is surrounded by mountains, it’s been an important port since the 19th century. With an array of attractions including the Kobe Animal Kingdom, Nunobiki Waterfall and the Ikuta Jinja shrine, you’ll be spoilt for choice on things to do and see whilst visiting Kobe.
  • Situated on the southern coast, Kochi is the vibrant and picturesque capital of the Kochi Prefecture. An underrated city, it boasts a laid back vibe and an array of attractions to explore throughout your time there, including the Kochi Castle, Kochi Prefectural Makino Botanical Garden and the Chikurin Ji Temple.
  • A mixture of historic landmarks and modern skyscrapers, Hiroshima is a world-famous city that’s situated on Japan’s Honshu Island. When visiting the city, you will see ruins of buildings that were destroyed by the atomic bomb in the Second World War, alongside memorials that commemorate the event. Top sights to see when in Hiroshima include the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum, Shukkeien Garden and the Hiroshima Garden.
  • Located in the western end of Beppu Bay, Beppu is a remarkable Japanese city with an abundance of authentic activities to enjoy when you visit. Famous for being a hotspot for naturally occurring hot springs in southern Japan, more than 3,000 onsen in fact, you’ll also find Beppu home to a unique variation on traditional Japanese cuisine – Hell Steam Cuisine. Utilising the steam from the numerous hot springs, this healthy technique is said to bring out the true flavour of the food you indulge in here.

  • The Miyako Islands are a subtropical paradise in Japan’s Okinawa Prefecture, renowned for having some of the most spectacular beaches and clearest turquoise waters in the world, often referred to as "Miyako Blue." Unlike other Okinawan islands, Miyako is relatively flat and composed of raised coral reef, which means there are no rivers to carry sediment into the sea, resulting in unparalleled underwater visibility for snorkelling and diving. The island is famous for its three massive sea bridges Irabu, Kurima, and Ikema which connect the main island to its smaller neighbours and offer breathtaking views for drivers. Visitors are drawn to the powdery white sands of Yonaha Maehama Beach, the dramatic rock formations at Higashi-hennazaki Cape, and the vibrant coral reefs at Yoshino Beach. Beyond the coast, the islands offer a unique local culture, distinct from mainland Japan, characterized by the legendary Miyako beef, the potent awamori spirit, and the traditional "Mamoru-kun" police statues that watch over the island's quiet, scenic roads.
