Join us for a delightful spring escape, enjoy colourful signs of spring in Wales as we visit: the Italianate village of Portmeirion with an included lunch, a visit to the Isle of Anglesey including Plas Newydd House and a Fish & Chips lunch, a tour and tasting at the Aber Falls Distillery, a visit to Bodnant Gardens and a guided walking tour and a sparkling afternoon Tea in Conwy. We stay at Warner Bodelwyddan Castle and enjoy a sparkling reception, dinner with wine each evening and nightly live entertainment.
Itinerary
- Check in from 3pm. Welcome sparkling reception with your Tour Manager before dinner with wine followed by entertainment.
- An enchanting day out through stunning scenery to the Italianate Village of Portmeirion. Built by Welsh architect Clough William-Ellis from 1925 to 1973, Portmeirion Village also provided the backdrop for the 1960’s cult classic series, The Prisoner, starring Patrick McGoohan. We’ll have a guided walking tour and free time, followed by an included lunch at Castell Deudraeth Brasserie, overlooking the mountains of Meirionnydd. After lunch enjoy a relaxing drive back to Bodelwyddan Castle. Dinner with wine in the hotel followed by entertainment
- An escorted excursion to the Isle of Anglesey, including Plas Newydd House for the stunning views across the Menai Strait to Snowdonia and a fish & chip lunch at The Tavern on the Bay. In the afternoon, back on the mainland, we visit the Aber Falls Distillery for a tour and tasting. Dinner with wine in the hotel followed by entertainment.
- An escorted full day out in North Wales including the beautiful Bodnant Garden, known for their colourful show of spring flowers, especially daffodils, a visit to Conwy for a guided walking tour and a sparkling afternoon tea. Dinner with wine in the hotel followed by entertainment.

Bodelwyddan (pronounced bod-el-with-an), is a Grade II listed Victorian building near the North Wales coast, close to Snowdonia. Set within the grounds of a romantic castle, but with all the amenities of a modern Hotel, including a superb range of leisure facilities, numerous daily activities, and nightly live entertainment.
