Itinerary
- From a morning pickup in your local area, we travel to our hotel. The coach then takes us to the British Museum. Discover the extraordinary Bayeux Tapestry Exhibition and immerse yourself in one of Europe’s most iconic historical stories. On loan from Bayeux, France, this remarkable 230-foot-long embroidered masterpiece was created in the 11th century and vividly chronicles the events leading up to the Norman Conquest. Beginning with the reign of Edward the Confessor and culminating in the Battle of Hastings in 1066, it offers a unique window into a defining moment in British history. After a day of exploring the museum, the coach takes us to our hotel for our overnight stay.
- After breakfast at the hotel, we head back into central London to explore this vibrant city, enjoy some shopping or see the iconic sites. Our coach departs for home in the mid-afternoon.
