Itinerary

• Day 1 - Arrival at Hotel
  Check in from 3pm. Welcome sparkling reception with your Tour Manager before dinner with wine followed by entertainment.
• Day 2 - Arundel Castle and The Bluebell Railway
  Todays excursion will start with a visit to the stunning Arundel Castle, situated in magnificent grounds overlooking the River Arun. Our April visit is timed to coincide with the annual Tulip Festival, setting of one of the largest displays of Tulips in this country. This will be followed by a lunchtime ride on the Bluebell Railway, during which a Ploughman’s lunch will be provided and you will have the opportunity to visit to the Museum, Steam Works and The Loco Shed. Return to the hotel for dinner with wine followed by entertainment
• Day 3 - National Motor Museum & Bucklers Hard
  Our excursion today takes us to the National Motor Museum at Beaulieu & then back in time to Bucklers Hard. From the earliest motor carriages to classic family saloons the world-famous National Motor Museum has one of the finest collections of cars, motorcycles & motoring memorabilia in the World. From there we drive the short distance to Bucklers Hard on the banks of the Beaulieu River it’s part of the 9,000 acre Beaulieu Estate. Built by the 2nd Duke of Montagu and originally called Montagu Town it was intended to be a free port for trade with the West Indies. However, its best known for ship building including 3 that fought at the Battle of Trafalgar. Our visit here includes a buffet lunch at the Captain’s Table and short 30-minute cruise along the picturesque River estuary, one of only a very small number of privately owned river estuaries in the world. Return to the hotel for dinner with wine followed by entertainment
• Day 4 - Free Day
  Full free day to make the most of the facilities at the hotel. Dinner with wine and entertainment in the hotel.
• Day 5 - Portsmouth Harbour Cruise, Mary Rose Museum & Spinnaker Tower
  Today’s excursion will take us to the nearby Maritime City of Portsmouth, where we will begin the day with a 45-minute Harbour cruise. We will then visit The Historic Dockyards where you will have tickets for the Mary Rose Museum. After over 400 years beneath the Solent, Henry VIII’s legendary flagship has returned to Portsmouth. Following her historic recovery in October 1982 the ship underwent a meticulous 30-year conservation process to stabilise her timbers. Today, the hull stands as a breathtaking centrepiece, reunited with thousands of authentic artifacts recovered from the wreck. Finally, before we leave Portsmouth we will visit the Spinnaker Tower*, where we’ll enjoy a High Tea 105 meters above Portsmouth Harbour in the Café in the Clouds. Return to the hotel for dinner with wine followed by entertainment
• Day 6 - Isle of Wight
  Full day excursion to the Isle of Wight. We will travel one way to the island by Hovercraft and the other way by Fastcat (Catamaran) We’ll take a ride on the unique Island Line Train as featured in Michael Portillo’s Great British Railway Journeys, which travels the length of the World’s oldest seaside Pier at Ryde. We’ll make a stop in the quintessentially English village of Shanklin Old Village known for its centuries old, thatched cottages and traditional tea rooms where there will be time to explore and have lunch (not included) and visit Osborne House. Get an unforgettable glimpse into the private family life of Queen Victoria, Prince Albert and their nine children! From sumptuous interiors and art collections inside to a peaceful beach and marvellous gardens outside. Return to the hotel for dinner with wine followed by entertainment
• Day 7 - Worthing & Kinsbrook Vineyard
  This morning we’ll head off to Worthing where there will be time to blow the cobwebs away & have a wander round this seaside resort at leisure. Maybe take a ride on the Big Wheel (not included) On our way back to Sinah Warren we’ll visit Kinsbrook Vineyard where we’ll take part in a wine tasting experience to round off our holiday. Return to the hotel for dinner with wine followed by entertainment
• Day 8 - Depart Hotel
  Check out of hotel by 10am Note: Walking tours, train and boat rides include uneven ground, steps and slopes, and in our opinion are unsuitable for persons with limited mobility requiring use of a walker, a wheelchair and/or a mobility scooter. Order of excursions may be subject to change. *Please note the lease at Spinnaker Tower is currently up for renewal. In the event the new lease holders don’t open the tower for visits and afternoon tea an alternative will be substituted
