Itinerary

  • Fly UK to Santiago, Chile overnight.
  • Transfer from airport to hotel for a one night stay.
  • Transfer from hotel to port to board your cruise.
  • While sailing between destinations, you’ll have time to take a moment and enjoy everything your cruise ship has to offer; with stunning food prepared with the freshest ingredients, fantastic entertainment opportunities, and plenty of places to lounge around, an enjoyable day at sea awaits!
  • Puerto Montt, Chile, is a charming port city with a lot to offer everyone who visits – whether you’re looking for adventure ashore or a more leisurely experience. Home to some sensational cuisine, especially seafood, and surrounded by stunning scenery, this is the perfect place to casually immerse yourself in Chilean culture. Although, with this destination surrounded by forests and national parks, there’s almost more than enough opportunity to go exploring the wonderful wilderness. Staying in the city, though, you’ll have the chance to see the remarkable wood-built Our Lady of Mount Carmel Cathedral, the unique statues of Sentados Frente al Mar, and more.
  • Puerto Chacabuco, nestled in Chilean Patagonia, is a gateway to breathtaking natural beauty. Explore the lush landscapes of nearby Aysén region, with scenic excursions to waterfalls, rivers, and rugged mountains. Take a boat trip on Lake General Carrera, visit the striking marble caves, or hike to scenic viewpoints for incredible panoramas. Experience local cuisine and crafts in the small town, and immerse yourself in the tranquil rhythms of southern Chile.
  • Much like the Norwegian coastline, the west coast of Chile is sliced by dramatic inlets, or fjords, lined with rugged mountains and glacier-covered valleys. This spectacular stretch of coastline starts near the Reloncaví Estuary (roughly halfway down the long spine of Chile) and extends south to the very end of the continent, at Tierra del Fuego. It's a distance of some 1,500 kilometers (930 miles), as the crow flies. Travel here, however, is never in a straight line—instead ships follow meandering paths along the many fjords and channels.
  • We take you to unique ports of call and seldom-seen gems on board perfectly sized ships that get closer to it all. Explore like a local across iconic cities and enchanting villages. Deepen your understanding of the people and places you visit with exclusive Exploration Central® programs. Stories from locals, insider travel tips, cooking demonstrations and more give more insight into every amazing cruise port. One of the main channels in Patagonia, the Sarmiento Channel runs in a north-south direction, starting at the Guía Narrows and finishing at the southern edge of Victoria Pass, where it joins the Smyth Channel.
  • Among the most important natural waterways in the world, the Strait of Magellan is a navigable sea route through southern Chile connecting the Atlantic Ocean with the Pacific Ocean. While here, you’ll have the chance to admire dramatic rocky landscapes, vibrant woodlands, bright blue glaciers, and more; if you’re lucky, you’ll have the chance to spot humpback whales breaching the water and Magellanic penguins clustered on the shores.
  • The peninsular of Punta Arenas is a hugely popular location for those wanting to whale watch either from the rugged coastline or boat trips out to sea. Cruisers stopping by can also enjoy the sanctuary for sea life such as endangered turtles and seahorses, or kayak along the Magellan Straits to spot penguins. Explore the main boulevard and take in the local art gallery, or hit the duty free area for fantastic souvenirs.
  • Nicknamed the “End of the World”, Ushuaia is a charming windswept city on the southernmost tip of South America and an important port of call for cruise adventures to Antarctica. In the heart of the Tierra del Fuego archipelago, this port is surrounded by some of the most breathtaking landscapes in the world, boasting sensational sightseeing opportunities for everyone who travels here. From vibrant coastal forests and dramatic waterfalls to stunning glaciers and unique polar wildlife, Ushuaia really is somewhere where you’ll be able to bask in the sheer beauty of nature, and soak up some sensational panoramic views from the vantage points found here.
  • Widely believed to be the most southerly point of South America for a long time, and a destination marking the meeting point of the Atlantic Ocean and Pacific Ocean, Cape Horn is a stunning headland on Hornos Island – one of the larger landmasses in the Tierra del Fuego archipelago – known for unusual rock formations, tumultuous weather, and its significant role in maritime trading from the 1700s to the early 20th century.
  • Also known as Stanley, Port Stanley is the capital city of the Falkland Islands and a charming destination to visit during cruises through the South Atlantic Ocean and beyond. Home to roughly 70% of the Falkland Islands’ population, Port Stanley is the place to be if you’re looking to immerse yourself in this archipelago’s unique culture.
  • While sailing between destinations, you’ll have time to take a moment and enjoy everything your cruise ship has to offer; with stunning food prepared with the freshest ingredients, fantastic entertainment opportunities, and plenty of places to lounge around, an enjoyable day at sea awaits!
  • Located on the north-eastern bank of the Rio de la Plata, Montevideo is the capital city of Uruguay and a modern metropolis with a difference. Boasting stunning European art deco-style architecture, a hangover from this region’s colonial past, Montevideo is home to an expansive beach promenade and a South American atmosphere to match.
  • Transfer from port to airport. Fly Buenos Aires, Argentina to Iguazu Falls and transfer to the hotel for a two night stay.
  • Dividing the upper and lower Iguazu River running between Argentina, Paraguay and Brazil, this stunning system of waterfalls are the largest in the world. An awe-inspiring spectacle, the force and roar of the cascading waters will take your breath away.
  • Transfer from port to airport. Fly Iguazu Falls to Buenos Aires, Argentina and transfer to the hotel for a two night stay.
  • Transfer from hotel to airport. Fly Buenos Aires, Argentina to the UK overnight.
