• Day 1 - Fly UK to Rome, Italy
  Fly UK to Rome, Italy, transfer from airport to hotel for a two night stay.
• Day 2 - Rome, Italy
  Rome is a treasure trove of history, art, and culture. Marvel at ancient landmarks like the Colosseum and Roman Forum, admire the breathtaking beauty of St Peter’s Basilica and the Vatican Museums, and toss a coin into the iconic Trevi Fountain. Stroll through lively piazzas, savour authentic Italian gelato, and explore charming neighbourhoods such as Trastevere for a true taste of la dolce vita.
• Day 3 - Board the ship in Rome (Civitavecchia), Italy
  Transfer from hotel to port to board your ship.
• Day 4 - Salerno, Italy
  Located to the southeast of Naples, Salerno is a bustling port city which lies between the Amalfi Coast and the picturesque Cilento National Park. Rapidly growing in popularity with tourists who are looking for beautiful beaches, decadent Italian cuisine and an abundance of historic sights, you can easily spend a day or two exploring all this scenic city has to offer.
• Day 5 - Catania, Sicily
  Catania is located on the eastern side of Sicily on the slopes of Mount Etna, the highest active volcano in Europe. It was founded between 729 and 728 BC by the Greeks of Chalcis and, like the other major Sicilian cities, it was subjected to the domination of different populations because of its strategic position on the sea. Among the places of artistic and cultural interest are the Ursino Castle, the Sant’Agata Cathedral, and the Benedictine Monastery.
• Day 6 - At Sea
  While sailing between destinations, you’ll have time to take a moment and enjoy everything your cruise ship has to offer; with stunning food prepared with the freshest ingredients, fantastic entertainment opportunities, and plenty of places to lounge around, an enjoyable day at sea awaits!
• Day 7 - Florence & Pisa (Livorno), Italy
  Made famous by its sloping bell tower, Pisa was once a simple but noteworthy port town. Over the years Pisa had some involvement in Italy’s military conflicts, and has seen success in matters of trade. Today most visitors come to see the fascinating Leaning Tower; a construction dating back to the 12th century that has been repeatedly repaired and stabilised over the years. As well as this is the neighbouring cathedral and baptistery, and the pretty Square of Miracles which houses them all. Pisa has a brilliant culinary scene, with many inexpensive restaurants serving amazing antipasti, pizzas, pastas, and other hearty Italian dishes.
• Day 8 - Nice (Villefranche), France
  A popular holiday resort with people from all over Europe since the 19th century, Nice is one of the top spots on the beautiful French Riviera. A stroll down the Promenade des Anglais is a great way to admire the scenery and pebbled beach before heading to the pleasant harbour - a fantastic spot to enjoy some seafood in the sun. After dining, head up to the gorgeous gardens atop the old castle for unrivalled views out over the whole city and bay.
• Day 9 - Marseille (Provence), France
  With a history dating back to the 5th century and the accolade of European Capital of Culture 2013, in Marseille you’ll find an old city full of charm to explore and pretty modern districts alike. Tuck into a classic pissaladière at the old port before visiting the famous coves of the Calanques National Park to the south- a stunning sight and only 25 minutes away by car. Before you leave don’t forget to buy a Marseille soap to give your suitcase a delicious holiday scent!
