Nestled along the stunning coastline of Kalutara and tucked away in a coconut grove, The Mermaid Hotel and Club offers a true paradise just steps away from a golden sandy beach. The facilities are fantastic, including two swimming pools, reading and games rooms, two gift shops, a restaurant with a sea-view al fresco dining area (serving Sri Lankan specialties and international themed buffets), pool bar, beach bar plus a music and lounge bar (operates twice a week), Sahana spa featuring a sauna, steam bath and Jacuzzi and a sports centre with a gym plus a whole host of activities on offer. These include squash, table tennis, badminton, volleyball, boccia, croquet, aerobics, aqua aerobics, water polo, yoga, darts and pool, so there is plenty to choose from. In the tranquil bedrooms, you can expect everything needed for a comfortable stay, featuring a TV, mini-bar, tea and coffee-making facilities, safe, climate control air-conditioning, hairdryer, mineral water, free Wi-Fi, a balcony or terrace with a day bed and bedside-operated motorised curtains – the perfect way to start each day!
