Terms and Conditions: Where available, prize based on 1 cabin on any 5-to-7-night European River cruise (*excluding cruises on the river Douro and cruises departing in December 2024). This could be solo, twin, or double occupancy. Prize to be booked by December 31, 2024. Travel by 31st October 2025. All cruises are subject to availability. Competition closes at 23:59 on Monday September 30, 2024. Excludes Northern Ireland. Entrants must be 18 years of age or older to enter. This prize draw is not open to employees and agents of Riviera Travel and/or Associated Newspapers Ltd. One winner will be selected at random, and the winner will be notified via email, within seven days of the competition ending. Prizes are non-transferable, may not be re-sold or re-assigned and no cash alternative will be offered. Should the winner be unable to accept the prize for any reason, including but not limited to personal reasons or conditions of carriage then they will forfeit their right to claim the prize, and a new winner will be chosen, from all remaining eligible entries. Winners must comply with all travel guidelines and restrictions as should be prevalent at the time of travel. This prize includes seven nights’ full-board cruise accommodation, return travel between the UK and the ships port, a superior drinks package and all guided tours and visits mentioned. The prize does not include travel between the winner’s home and the UK airport or Eurostar station, gratuities, travel insurance, alcoholic beverages, food and drink, personal expenditure or incidental costs, other than where mentioned above. Any other expenses not identified in these terms incurred in connection with the prize will be the sole responsibility of the prize winner and their companion. The choice of cabin category will be at the sole discretion of Riviera Travel. Should the winner wish to upgrade their cabin, then this will be subject to availability and any additional supplement will be payable by the winner. The prize winner will be responsible for supplying valid passports and, where necessary, for obtaining appropriate visas, vaccinations, and inoculations. It is strongly recommended that travellers take out adequate travel insurance. The holiday must be taken on the dates stated above. Validity of the prize cannot be extended. The winners choice of cruise departure date and itinerary is subject to availability. Riviera Travel reserves the right in its sole discretion to substitute any such gift, prize or item with a gift, prize or item of equal value. Riviera Travel may cancel or amend the prize due to circumstances outside of their control. Riviera Travel cannot be responsible for entries that are lost, damaged or incomplete. Riviera Travel reserves the right in its reasonable discretion: (a) to disqualify any claimant, competitor or nominee whose conduct is contrary to the spirit of the rules or the intention of the prize draw and to declare as void any or all of their claims or entries based on such conduct; (b) to declare as void any claims or entries resulting from any printing, production and/or distribution errors (including but not limited to any error(s) on any website, any game cards and/or other printed materials) or where there has been error(s) in any aspect of the preparation for or conduct of the prize draw materially affecting the result of the promotion or the number of claimants or the value of claims; (c) to add to or to waive any rules on reasonable notice; and/or (d) to cancel the promotion or any part of it at any stage in the event of circumstances beyond their reasonable control.
